Pedigree

Tuukka is a combination of beautiful conformation and stellar movement, super work ethic, and the loving temperament that are the hallmark of the Golden Retriever.  His namesake is Tuukka Rask,  former elite athlete and  NHL  Goaltender for the Boston Bruins.

Tuukka  inherits all of the above plus longevity and aptitude for competition from his grand sire, Yogi ( Am. CH OTCH CT; Can. CH Highmark Mirasol Once A Knight VCD4 UDX3 JH MX MXJ WC VCX OS SDHF OBHF ), who was the most prolific winning golden retriever in the history of the breed. Yogi also won the Golden Retriever National Specialty Show twice back to back and owner handled. Tuukka’s clearances reflect thoughtful breeding and are accented by his Penn Hip clearance with scores in the excellent range. In total he has the potential to  bring significant quality to a breeding. 

                                                                                     

This is  a Master Standard run at MidCoast Kennel Club’s  May 2022 agility trial at Pineland Farms earned Tuukka another qualifying score toward his Master Agility Championship.  

Tuukka has produced  lovely, healthy litters of pups, some of whom  enjoy active  competition with their owners.  All are beloved family members and a pleasure to be with.  He will be selectively bred here at Ireigold in the future and is   available at stud to approved bitches. It has been an exciting journey through the AKC Novice, Open, and Masters agility levels toward achievement of  a Masters of Agility Championship.  Tuukka is a focused, hard working, smart  and formidable partner.  When we run we are connected as though we are of  One Mind.
