Ireigold Can’t Touch This AX, OAJ, NA, NAJ, CGC
12/23/2004 – 05/09/2019
Lucy was my first agility competition dog and our journey together has been one of love for each other, hard work, keeping us both fit, learning how to motivate Lucy and myself, how to handle disappointments and rally to a new level of co-operation and mutual appreciation, all Life lessons of sorts. She is also one of the sweetest, most cuddly goldens I’ve ever bred, can frequently be found curled up in my lap.
Lucy passed away at age 14 and 4 months from liver disease. She had participated in a University of Colorado genetics study and found to be free of cancer markers. She was my willing and talented agility partner , super cuddle, generous spirit, perpetual demonstrator of how to embrace life, exponentially joyful presence, lover of any game involving non stop tennis ball retrieval, family caretaker, co-raiser of my grandson and her pack mate Calai. Until we meet again my sweet Luuucy in the Sky.
